Unzipping a large file - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi,

have downloaded rokos image file raspbian os. want uncompress zip file can burn image sd card using , usb adapter.

zip file 1.7g , uncompresses 4gb file. both unzip , gunzip return errors.

file stored on usb stick plenty of space.

can't unzip file computer.

how can make raspbian take charge of large zip files?

those file sizes not seem large raspbian. example i've unzipped raspbian jessie image file , written usdhc card w/o problems:

suspect it's "broken download" issue - able compare checksums (assuming 1 provided)?
