Use of digital signatures within a workflow

hello all,

we attempt build workflow, users digitally signing forms being routed. there implications implications signing documents.

here use scenario

1. initiator fills form datadigitally signs formand submits form.
2. 1st participant reviews signed formthen signs form on separate area
3. signed (by initiator , participant) form archived. data extracted , stored third party system (e.g. database)

what have tried

a. used designer 7.0 design xfa form template incorporating data entry fields , 2 signature fields.
b. embedded binding schema , saved .xdp
deployed form lc form manager
c. re deployed form properties allow digital signatures in reader
d. used workflow designer create simple workflow 2 users (initiator fill , sign form, 1st participant sign form, 2nd participant viewing result)
3. set init-form use particular template (the url points our form)
4. set form-var (the variable of type document, xfa schema displayed)
5. set data mappings (user properties) use form-var both input , output

now, sad story

i. initiator logins fm, selects form, fills data, signs , submits form
ii. 1st participant receives working item in worklist
iii. opens form, data initiator entered there, digital signature field (where initiator signed) empty
iv. initiator navigates archive , sees same (data no signature)

remark: whenever form opens (1st participant worklist or initiator archive), form takes space within internet explorer, i.e. fm left-side navigation , other frames disappear

any idea workaround on great. in advance help,

~evangelos

hi

it sounds me reader ext part not working. (but guess.)

why don't try getting initiator , 1st recipient use acrobat rather reader, , see whether fixes problem. tell whether it's re problem or workflow problem.
