sorry if wasting time have upgraded acrobat professional 7 adobe designer , have slight problem.
when use "file", 'save' or 'save as' nothing happens. no response. when close form have created without saving message box asking if want save file , if yes leaves me in designer open form.
i'm not thick can dress myself @ loss i'm doing wrong.

i having exact same problem. here's adobe tech note on issue:

you have change "my documents" folder other top level of partition (ex. c:/). (otherwise, upgrade 7.1 $29)
kinda sucks. i've made bunch of changes template find out can't save it. did "publish repository", seems same thing save... works anyway. opened file in acrobat , works!
