Thread: Squid proxy cache, mail, and google issues.

i system administrator lab @ high school. doing of servers via ubuntu server 9.10. have squid3 setup transparent proxy , works things internet except mail connections via client or browser , google apps wont work well. keep squid server in place prove worth instead of setting nasty isa server.

what other pages use https? work? i'll bet don't. alternate solution tools have not use transparent proxy , set normal proxy , force browsers use proxy. can pretty easy in both ie , firefox. use squid https proxy time in manner.
