i've wanted this, never sure kind of approach work.
basically, want can attach each wrist or each ankle, , trigger audible beep if come less foot or 2 away 1 another. fidelity wouldn't have perfect, give or take 6 inches fine. basically, in sport (fencing), it's important keep feet apart in wider stance, while moving around i'd make let know when feet close (and can't run wire or between them, it'll trip people up!).
i'm not sure if there's common sensor this. thought sonic sensors i'm guessing it'd noisy/directional, , don't know if led sensor work unless maybe strapped unit 1 ankle , reflective wrap around other?
