Thread: Not supporting linux websites

i don't this, @ all. understand can fail support particular browser on website, since browser interacts website. how os make difference?

suppose makes sense when 1 considers drm (to extent, things analog hole, youtube videos stored in /tmp, etc), how os make difference website? surely broswer + plugins should matter?

can explain welcome enlighten me on matter.

if website requires activex or other proprietary component not available gnu/linux operating system, in best interest of website owner use sniffer let know don't support operating system. saves them endless email "non-existent" gnu/linux users.

crazy huh? it's said not have noticeable market share, yet seem large enough cause support issues proprietary os centric websites, degree require os sniffer filter out.

user agent switcher can past issue if ignorance on part of site owner, , not actual technical problem.
