hi, have installed karmic coala , have matters sound did not have in previous releases. dont know weather did not exist or had not found because started experimenting such things after installed karmic.
on sound preferences set speaker arrangement "analog 5.1 sourround output/analog mono input". @ first noticed songs skipping using audacious. changed mixer in audacious pulseaudio , fine (i had @ alsa on jaunty). same xine have perfect surround sound setting mixer pulseaudio on settings.
when try play games sound either stutters or goes off , games crash when exiting. can solve problem setting speaker settings "analog stereo duplex". happens in both native games crash (supertux, frozen bubble), may not crash still have troubled sound (etwq, savage2) , in wine games (wow, warcraft 3). cant change sound settings on etqw 2.0.
there possibility can have surround on players without having change games?
also, can have surround on @ least native linux games?
