just posting share compute module project, while i'm waiting cm3 come.
built these small terminal devices use data entry these units spread out on large site. ethernet cabling needed, pcb powered poe, through battery, regulators 5v 3.3v , 1.8v rails. lan9514 copied other pi's, rtc , rs232. atmega set usb keyboard controller , controlling power cm. finally, hdmi 40pin lcd interface runs display.
prototype pcb hand soldered myself, having fix many mistakes work. terminating resistors , capacitors before lan9514 turn out quite important, can see little resistors tombstoned on ethernet magnetic right after ethernet jack
after that, got small scale runs manufactured , have turned out real well.
got bunch more getting fabbed, , i've been holding off on ordering cm boards them, in hope cm3 comes before need them.

cm3 dues released around end of year. have 4gb of emmc (like cm1). nec planning allow people buy 16gb cm3, don't expect show until time next year. (and if finds source , price them, please post it.)
