i installed 9.10. worked great! bought nvidia card , did driver update , got flicker screen. took card out figured wasn't worth trouble. still have problem. don't need update newest nvidia driver, fine onboard graphics.
can access comand line if boot in recovery mode. how reset configuration of system clean install? i'd rather not reinstall ubuntu. there revert default can do?
did uninstall previous video drivers before installing nvidia drivers?
did blacklist onboard video hardware before installing nvidia card , drivers?
did research before attempting install?
give hardware specs aware of.
