i received raspberry pi3b , hifi berry dac+ pro today. when plug them , connect power (from 5v 2.5a plug pack supplied seller) nothing happens, although 1 of pcb stand-offs (brass) on dac+ gets warm. no lights show next usb power socket, nor on lan socket. if unplug dac+ , reconnect power pi3b, seems work properly- lights come on, volumio software boots, lan socket lights on, , can log volumio on pi. seems me dac+pro drawing current: either plug pack can't supply enough or there's wrong hifiberry. have suggestions? dn
it turned out brass pcb standoff on hifiberry dac+ pro board shorting out something. took off , bingo, works
