hi
upgrade 9.10 yesterday morning, sound wasn't loud, alsamixer wasn't installed, did reading on forum , installed ubuntu 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-14-generic-pae.
when rebooted pc, had go grub menu (i think called) , had boot differnt kernel, pae 1 doesn't work.
how remove please, don't need time , time again.

go synaptic, search "linux image" , delete non-wanted kernels. if you're asking grub, go terminal , type "sudo update-grub". rewrite menu.lst. if want change default booting option, open file , edit (it has instructions inside).
