Analog audio cut off with pulseaudio - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all

i've been searching issue past few days , checked every single forum post came across seems nobody has hit problem pulseaudio. here go:

install latest jessie lite image , apt-get update , apt-get upgrade. install pulseaudio , run in daemon mode. i'll fire 2 programs playing music @ same time, both writing alsa device named 'pulse' or alternatively 'default'. 1 program don't experience issues 2 @ same time have sorts of problems audio cut-off (silence) choppiness, jitter, etc. reproduce ssh raspberry pi , create 2 sessions, run

speaker-test -d default -r 44100 -c 2 (tried mono , 48000 too)

on both. run second instance goes silent. works few seconds speaker-test switches channels goes silent. when ctrl+c , close 1 of instances sound other instance comes choppy , distorted sounding buffer overrun or something.

none of issues described above happens if use usb sound adapter. usb adapter works charm.

p.s. it's safe far played around 80% pulseaudio configuration parameters in daemon.pa , default.pa. nothing has helped. tried pulseaudio 7.1 backport repo, same behavior.

please if have seen , fixed same issue or have hints. i'm behind tight schedule deliver project.

in advance.

seems nobody uses built-in audio anymore. idea how pulseaudio work built-in audio?
