as can tell, complete newbie process. (i don't know if have right category write question)...i hoping has working knowledge of joomla me resolve few problems experiencing on our website. if please go http://www.collegebasics.com , click on main menu paying college , financial aid, of article titles show teaser intro, if click on the  other category finaincial planning, list of articles scrunched together...we want articles show in financial aid unfortunately other categories won't cooperate. large title intro text not showup...even though parameters set same.. have articles show frontpage , rid of filter shows too.  there way resolve problem?  appreciate can give! wisdom , advice have me  apologize if can not give technical names these errors....as said, newbie!!

from can see, problem has way menu item financial planning has been created. guessed, isn't right forum problem :). i'll leave mods point right forum.

there 2 ways categories financal aid , financial planning can linked in menu (admin > menu > main menu > new):

1. blog - content category = see articles intro texts (teasers)
2. table - content category = see article titles list

it appears menu link financial aid blog category while 1 financial planning table category. hence difference in appearance. if way blog category looks, go administrator > menu > main menu , create new link has blog category style , make sure it's parent paying college.
