hi all, curently exploring version 1.5 , fact can add filtering search funtionality, possible show filter on homepage , not in results pages? how can customize components parameters?

with search function on home page might mean simple module text input saying 'search...' . think there no use adding al search options there, because module meant simple. furthermore many templates make use of simpleness of module.
if want have more comprehensive search function (with filters etc), can make menu item links search component. clicking on menu item you'll search options it.
otherwise maybe write own module has options (filters etc) suits needs. couple of suggestions, hope might give ideas on how find suitable you.
