looking example of using mentioned magnetic encoder as5040 ams raspberry pi. couldn't find example, maybe sought wrong words, not sure.
want receive updates encoder in project raspberry pi, pin/-s , interface, not mounting as5040 micro controller , sending measurement rpi - not sure possible way.

it's possible, you'll have research yourself.
according datasheet, read absolute position have supply 3v , ground power it, , 2 clock pulses on 2 pins fed gpios. data should readable on third gpio.
