my laptop, msi l735 megabook comes on board remote i'm trying configure vlc , amarok. news remote autodetected kub 8.04 (like every ubuntu version i've used comp. system volume automatically responds commands remote. however, seeming stroke of luck hasn't helped me since can't other functions work.
far i've set vlc use infrared remote , i've installed kde lirc server program, says no remote configured since there options add on tv tuner/media center remotes in installation process. if provide insight i'd appreciate it.
