Diesel engine for experimental aircraft (burning Jet A1 and direct drive) 2400


we in search of program mega board arduino following task. (sub contract)
ours's  lml duramax on test bench coupled alternator  operating single injection during 1 compression cycle. multi injection required limit stress on engine , propeller.
the ecu adaptronic 1280 , our piezo injector driver developed us.
the essence of project generate pulse train upon reception of variable length pulse main ecu (adaptronic 1280)
following digital signal going hi ( around 4 volts) adaptronic ecu arduino should generate following train of pulse drive our injector piezo driver.
-4 cylinder must manage in sequence 1 arduino board
if speed become issue ( more 10 microsecond) each injector driver have own ardruino board.
-first pulse name pilot injection , duration typically around 100 microsecond. duration given  arduino board on form of analog signal 0-5 volts.
-the second pulse name main injection duration in order of 200 microsecond 4000 microsecond. pulse duration given ardruino board 0-5 volts analog signal main ecu  adaptronic 1280. delay between  pilot , main injection given analog signal adaptronic.
-third , fourth  injection duration call secondary  lenth , delay given analog signal 1280.
- full redundancy v8 duramax engine consider 2 4 cylinder engine each fuel rail supply , fuel pump.

an arduino not suitable kind of timing accuracy. there specific ecu chips built operate engines. clock speed of processor synchronised rotation of crankshaft.

triject make ecu module adaptable large number of different types of engines. it's not programmable arduino amazingly flexible in can do. don't know kind of processor inside triject.
