after installation of apache+php5+mysql in new ubuntu 9.10 (by link : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/apachemysqlphp ) when tried use codeigniter coping codeigniter files new config. root folder (/home/user/public_html/) , when tried execute http://localhost/ci/index.php (ci= codeigniter folder) showing error of .....
403 forbidden
don't have permission access /ci/index.php on server.
apache/2.2.12 (ubuntu) server @ localhost port 80

guys, can body tell me what's going wrong @ & how can solve problem. tried lot in google bit didn't able perfect solution.
you followed part t?
did make /home/user/public_html/ci/ , change documentroot point there?
