Thread: lp command in 9.10 - bloated font output

the following command entered terminal window:

lp textfile

in ubuntu 9.04, works fine.

in ubuntu 9.10, prints in large, boated font.

tried using lp -o cpi=12 -o lpi=8 - made output little smaller still not right.

tried modifying /etc/cups/printers.conf file make 9.10 file more 9.04 file. result - no printing @ all.

printer hp officejet 4215, served windows xp system in home office.

suggestions how trouble-shoot or fix this?? thanks!!

i having same problem.

when use -o lpi, have specify number larger prints.

spaces not getting done correctly, have file has words spaced out column, isn't in right place.

worked fine in jaunty.
