Conecting Uno and BU-353

hi all

i have bu-353 gps usb , want connect arduino uno. since usb gps, ordered usb ttl  and female female usb adapter (gps male, usb ttl male).
i connected tx/rx lines (see attached image) cannot receive gps. code waiting on serial doesn't arrive. never see tx/rx leds on.

gps working alone (conected laptop) , replaced usb ttl one, no luck.

i guess usb ttl not need, right? how interface usb arduino?

anyone?

how guys interface usb devices arduino?
