has noticed log in failures?
installed xubuntu , powered down came morning , when asked me password said authentication failure. there 2 things wrong this. 1 thought set computer log in automatically , 2 100% sure of password.
thoughts?
boot recovery mode shell , change password via 'passwd yourusername' command.
i've botched password (yes, twice) many times before , i've been doing since unix pdp-11 experiment. happens.
