every once in while, i'll check , purge gmail , notice there's message there wasn't picked on evolution. checked settings in evolution , gmail, don't see wrong. it's not particular sender, either.
i've told gmail enable mail (even that's been sent). hundreds of emails flooded evolution i've gotten, skipped email still not picked evolution.
still using 8.04, if matters.
