Issue in Print Form

hi,
i have created print form using adobe livecycle designer 7.1 on sap ecc 6.0 version. requirement mask first 5 characters of text field (ssn) on form while displaying when printed should print whole ssn.i have used javascript option run @ client. in initialize event, changing value(rawvalue) masked one(for eg. xxxxx9999).in preprint event passing correct value of ssn , again in postprint event changing value of ssn masked one.the form type set print form , dynamic pdf.i have created custom program in sap creae pdf , download on local machine.

now issue is...
1)when opened downloaded pdf , pressed print button, whole document goes blank. happening in adobe reader 7.0.9.

2) works expected adobe reader 8.1.1 when close document gives error message - instruction 0xx.. not written memory.

i have tried hide set presence attribute "visible" in preprint event , "invisible" in postprint event instead of changing value of field same issue happening adobe reader version 7.0.9.

i need work on version(7.x or 8.x) of adobe reader. please help.
