Need help in building an Aquarium monitor - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello all. name claudio, 32 years old, , software developer italy. after buying raspberry pi 3 loving idea of having micro computer, thought small project i'd love build. thread title says, i'd love build aquarium monitor / controller, starting basic water temperature sensor, , adding more , more features (the second candidate ph sensor). unfortunately i'm complete newbie in electronic, i'd need guidance components buy, how connect them, how raspverry manages i/o, , on. appreciated!
