i have few questions user management of livecycle 7.0 products. because there no forum um , documentation um api comes sdk, post questions here , hope might able answer them.
my main problem need users testing purposes, find quick , easy way.
is there possibility manually insert users in um? searched, haven't found one. possibilities have found
1. ldap: don't know ldap, have no idea how fast can set users here, , don't have active directory or similar use ldap
2. jaas: haven't found documentation how jaas interface needs configured, , crashed installation in trying use jaas.
3. write custom service provider
is there possibility configure livecycle um use windows os users? how effort write custom service provider gets user information e.g. file (remember it's testing, need not secure) or windows os? has set custom service provider user management? have set authentication , directory services or authentication sufficient? has found samples mentioned in documentation 'developing user management service providers' (this relates other entry in forum)?
please, appreciated , urgently needed!

i haven't tried playing um myself, think need have both directory service , authentication set in order add users.
basic ldap things, adding users, isn't tough. , using default settings in admin ui makes connecting livecycle ldap easier. imagine creating custom service provider more work hooking livecycle ldap. if testing , work you've done creating custom sp won't used later.
