hi arduino community,
i'm working on 1 of first projects. want build "clap switch" bedroom light. figured out how make use of sensor, i'm facing problem, can't attach 250v cable board without frying it. furthermore don't know how non-physical power switch can programm "on" , "off".
so of laugh dont know how this.
i tried google it, didn't find useful results.

a relay electrically isolated, electrically controlled switch.
most relay coils cannot directly driven arduino output, , require driver circuit similar this. and, relay coils going require 12v (or more).
you can find relay boards relay driver built-in, or there lots of solid state relays can driven directly arduino.
