i have indesign cs3, , need generate index yearbook.
i have 2 pages in each file, , have 50 files (or more).
i have added index entries correctly in each of these files.
i have opened index file, , created new book , place files in it. when go generate index, choose include book. when generate index, loaded text icon, when shift+click column, program freezes , nothing. if wait, windows tell me program non responsive , program quits.
i don't know ... works fine if create 3 index entries in actual index page, , flow index. however, if have 1 file in book, when try generate this, freezes.
i running windows xp , indesign cs3 5.0.2
