quick question. know it's real easy, still haven't gotten way around scripting entirely. might put in absolute beginner talk, but... dunno belongs honestly, , i'm running personal server i'm putting here now.
need write script scan log folder that's in /var/logs/ (i think is), , find , read script keeps user login information. want script search file bad login attemps only, , either write them screen or redirect them bad_login.txt sort of file can open in vi read.
help? links script-writing tutorials beginners rock
