How to make a button that allows for 2 separate versions of a header - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i started dabbling java , found great applet use in conjunction our main site header/banner.
problem? people either have download java or wait load, or worse, leave.
i have scoured forums , net way place button next banner allow user select "java" or "standard" , therfore disable java banner , show simple png.
greeting users splash screen- "java" or "no java" type thing, unacceptable, needs button located next banner or popup allows choose.
ok, have discovered way make happen- now. want have each visitor's cookie reflect joice each time login... how that?

i hate bump own posts, know solution easy, cannot seem code right.
i've taken examples (source) other sites allowed template changes on press of button, none of them joomla sites , having issues page specific module display parameters when implement code.
