i installed indesign cs3 master collection package on pc-windows xp , after 2 days blocks when importing image...
i have presse "escape" in order avoid crash.
i re-installed same remaining problem...
any solution? anybody?

it sounds familiar problem. (most likely) happens place dialog pops
i behind
the indesign window. if press "escape", dialog cancelled , id comes life. happen have dual monitor setup? that's been mentioned more once possible origin.
i've searched forum, apparently wrong keywords, can't find original thread, , can't remember working tricks rid of it. own suggestion minimize id pressing windows+m, think didn't work. try alt+tab toggle window, id might right on redrawing.
a quick , dirty way access place dialog,
i before
you press ctrl+d (or select "place"), resize indesign main window, covers less half of screen. place dialog should appear in center of screen, can select when small part of peeks behind main window.
