i'm working on form needs display or hide continutation pages based on number of occurrences of data in xfa data dom. guess dynamic subforms in xfa 2.2 do, problem i'm targeting users reader 6 , above (they're 20% of our user base).
i'm saving form in designer 7.1 "acrobat 6 compatible (static) form file". there way can write javascript or formcalc code add page instances within reader, or can done in reader 7+?

you run compatibility problems.
first, require reader 6.02 or later work livecycle forms.
we doing same thing our dynamic pdf's. ended upgrading of our user base reader 7.0.3 because of different problems around expanding fields , hiding / displaying subforms (pages).
there many other posts on forum examples of hiding/displaying subforms. search 'hiding'.
best use javascript.
