i have western digital mybook home edition usb2/fw/esata 1tb drive http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b000wbjdua attached ubuntu 9.10 workstation. drive formatted fat32 can share files between linux/osx/windows machines, although it's attached linux box.
bought identical drive first drive. planning format second drive fat32, hook ubuntu workstation, use rsnapshot mirror first drive.
first time i've tried this. before this, thought i'd post message here see if there better way set backups. let me know if think should backing first drive other way. thanks.
