i using live cycle designer 8 -
i have created flowable xfa form pre-populates reading xml data file. xml data loading , fields visible- format of display data ........
it turns out if modify display pattern text field - validation method automatically invoked - , - - don't want enforce sort of validation - format display of data....
but whenever use display pattern - automatically fails "non-existent" validation (since not entering one... reporting failure every field ... every field has display pattern..
is known bug/issue - or there way make sure doesn't occur ?
