Thread: Can't boot after enabling XMP

i bought new computer. has intel i5 750 processor, gigabyte p55a-ud4 motherboard , 4 gb of kingston hyperx ddr3 ram.

ram supports xmp , can run @ 1600 mhz, runs @ 1333 mhz default. tried enable xmp bios setting profile 1, computer won't pass post. "no signal" message on monitor, , next time boot bios says failed boot last time , has reverted previous settings.

know forum section more linux compatibility , has nothing ubuntu or linux, have experience xmp , know how can working? have no knowledge overclocking anything, told when bought computer should enable xmp.

thanks,
adam
