i have multi-chapter book. need chapters cross-reference ("for more info, see chapter x").
this has worked creating new hyperlink pre-set destination in new chapter. used to, anyway.
now whenever start cross-link chapters, id shuts down. no pop-ups saving files, nothing. find myself @ desktop screen. when re-open id, automatically loads every file had been open @ time of crash.
what's wrong?

surely mean cs4? cs3 has no native support cross-references. or using plugin or script?
