i have read evey post on forum people having problems sending email through joomla. think i've figured out far when joomla installed on unix or linux system, there no problems email functions. have following questions.
1. possible joomla send emails windows platform localhost?
2. files "class.phpmailer.php", , "class.smtp.php" in c:/wamp/www/joomla/includes/phpmailer for?
3. have sending email froma joomla site? if so, can windows platform use them?
4. in joomla global configurations mail tab, there reference "sendmail path" "/usr/sbin/sendmail". looks me unix or linux path. path 1 use if hosting site on winxp platform?
5. can tell me how set sending email winxp platform host?
6. i'm moron, need know if it's possible, path, .php file or whatever edit, , being changed during editing.
