Thread: "sh:grub>" - Why is this?


hello, name kenny strawn. i've been member of pc world forums quite time, , on there when have been here. came here (yes, came back, because i've had account here longer) , have wubi in windows vista. seems did right. ran wubi installer, rebooted computer, let installation complete, , rebooted again. when selected ubuntu in windows boot menu second time, got "sh:grub>" prompt, , have type commands boot. booted vista, , browsed c:\ubuntu\disks\boot\grub" folder, find empty. wubi had erased grub! there way can recover grub may have working windows ubuntu installation?
