we using livecycle 7.2.2.
we have created form within 1 of our processes links images urls. these urls dynamically determined based on other data in form , linked image in javascript. form rendered pdf , e-mailed clients.
e.g.
simageref = "http://someimagesite/someimages/someimagetest.jpg"
oday.item(i).sright.imagefield1.value.image.href = simageref
this functionality working fine when pdf viewed adobe reader in 7.0.9. images not appear when pdf viewed in adobe reader 8.1.
i believe documentation have been able find highest supported version of adobe reader livecycle 7.2.2 7.0.5.
what know is.
1. 8.1 definately not supported livecycle 7.2.2 (meaning have upgrade)
2. there way change code work api 8.1, make image functionality compatible 8.1, allowing use 8.1 process until such time can upgrade.
