new raspbian + pixel zip file: cannot unzip on osx - Raspberry Pi Forums

i downloaded new zip file, , tried unzip on osx.

following message:

note: didn't find end-of-central-dir signature @ end of central dir.
(please check have transferred or created zipfile in the
appropriate binary mode , have compiled unzip properly)

it sounds unzip program can't handle recent forms of zip files. has been problem on windows while, didn't think applied osx well.
