so i'm working on site sells custom products online shoppers. i'm using virtuemart ecommerce solution, i'm comfortable there no way add options different products. since products i'm putting on site have unique size, color, , wording (the buyer chooses wording) need have way them input information. here questions..
1.) there solution can accomplish this? i've looked on found nothing.
if need stick virtuemart then...
1.) maybe can send form email makes purchase of questions need answered. so, how suggest accomplish this? there component helps me build html style emails (so looks official) , emails member choose?
2.) or maybe have email sent buyer says "click here or follow link build product..." follow link , username , password area fill out things "size", "style", "color", , "wording". problem don't know how build form people can input info.. , how lock down.. , how know order goes form??!!!?!?!
3.) or, maybe have downloadable file (maybe pdf) entry fields. when person buys product redirected download spot (i think virtuemart has download management options) pdf. in pdf instructions on input , send (i.e. email, fax, mail etc.)
so think? what's best way sell products options? these ideas can come with, i'm open other ideas. want site , running i'm @ stopping point because don't know how accomplish site without creating individual product each option (which end being hundreds or thousands of products).
