have form deploys through workflow in need hide or show fields, or groups, based on step workflow on.
example:
a form request new computer. gathers data required user , goes desk. desk job , fills checkbox completed. in first step don't want see completed checkbox, when gets desk do.
my attempt:
i tried using setvalue qpac set field on form "mis", problem here data entered after initialization of form.
help...

i think you're using correct approach. question - form event putting script hide checkbox? think form:initialize event right place, think event happens once data loaded.
if doesn't work try other events ready event, or post question forms forum.
