as new joomla user , experienced static site developer, can't seem wrap head around static vs dynamic content in joomla.
if generate , article, goes database , still called, far can see fill content area of page. me, seems occurs whether article static or dynamic content. i'm totally familiar wordpress blogs , dynamic nature on main page. need develop @ moment site non profit has several different pages , can't work out method should use.
can please give me sort of easy explanation why use static instead of dynamic , vice versa apart obvious. have read quite few ebooks on this, still escaping me.

static pages quick notes or articles not want display in hierarchy. if want manage content sections , categories, stay away static content. if have site has 3 pages of information, static pages great!
