i have sample file loads drop down menu xml file. form works fine in preview pane of livecycle. see values populated. when attempt load same file acrobat reader drop down menu shows empty. have saved document dynamic pdf. happens both reader 8.0 , 7.0 on 2 different machines. doing wrong? known issue?
how merging data form before viewing in reader? using preview in designer allows pass xml data when rendering pdf when save out pdf form designer data not part of form. , without reader extending form (or using acrobat pro) have no way of pulling in xml data drop down can populate.
