New features for MoPower UPS, beta 0.93, MORSE Code LED! - Raspberry Pi Forums

i working on new features mopower ups. have new beta firmware available have ups , try out (links @ bottom). if has comments, questions or suggestions on new features, time tell me. new features in beta..

- morse code can sent out status led. not gimmic, might come in handy.. think blinking out last part of ip address or battery status, etc.
- shutdown current of ups down below 1 ma.
- timer , input control rules have "and" test condition. several can combined together. rules such following become possible; turn on pi every half hour if battery voltage greater xx.x volts. can see useful in solar application.

purchased mopower ups use pi3b. think far, more last ups hat bought (ups pico - hv 1.0). have questions being documentation limited (imo).

1. under (obviously wrong) impression p2 header come installed on "assembled , tested" unit. suppose based off image published of mopower ups on of rpf touchscreen. i'd have assembly similar 1 in photo project. so, can buy one?

2. haven't looked closely @ code, logging functionality of scripts seems cause frequent (every second?) writes filesystem. doesn't seem thing. necessary?

3. should more clear rtc functionality. manual says "real time clock, keep time correctly on raspberry pi without network connection." lead me believe have access @ least emulated rtc (ds1307 compatible or something) ups pico has. doesn't appear case, rtc not accessible pi while installed , running far can tell. wrong?
