i bought acrobat professional 8 , hoping work livecycle designer create pdf forms, unfortunately designer doesn't start @ start menu. splash screen appears , disappears again. managed open through acrobat, feels buggy. crashes on me every couple of minutes , things, adding barcode doesn't work @ all. i'm using windows xp professional. tried reinstalling whole thing, didn't help. it's kind of frustrating pay hundreds of euro's , not being able work. there out there has idea cause of problem?
i had same issue after have installed last driver version wireless mouse (logitech mx revolution)...
just unplugging mouse, starting designer , repluging mouse solved problem me.
