the problem have following. have created form adobe life cycle designer whoever completes form can submit answer clicking on submit email button. xml data file generated , sent me email.
normally, when clicking on button, user gets popup message gives user choice of email services (desktop email application, internet email or other.
this works fine when using acrobat reader 7. however, whatever reason, not work when using acrobat reader 8 unless desktop email application such outlook activated , configured profile. message instead (refer pdf attached see image), when no profile created on desktop application.
i looked in documentation of acrobat reader 8 , saw users should same same choice in acrobat 7. make matter worse, second popup message refers email icon in control panel not exist in control panel of windows xp.
unless fix problem, not able use adobe form planned. must sure form users can send data me after completing form without having create profile in whatever email application have on computer. can me?
