i bought sata 500gb hard drive , wondering how should partition before install ubuntu 9.10? not sure if ever share os. splitting small partitions speed in way?
i don't think having more 1 partition speeds up, order of partitions may affect speed. @ least having separate /home partition allows clean install without losing /home.
suggest have @ ubuntu partitioning schemes decide.
