i'm having trouble monitor not waking coming out of hibernation. see lot of posts suggesting swap partition size might problem, , default size accepted near recommended 2x ram. it's understanding there no simple way expand swap partition, , being new installation, it's no big deal me re-install. need un-install first? or if put iso disk in wipe initial installation? thank you.
i don't think issue related size of swap partition. how large it, way? computer may fail hibernate if swap smaller ram, in case, 2gb of ram doesn't require 4gb of swap, 2gb optimal. rule: swap = 2xram old , doesn't apply modern computers.
