Intermediate Noob With Beyond Noob LED Question...

situation: have 4 x 4 x 4 charlieplexed rgb led cube. i've gone in , written several patterns it, etc. question this... being not single 1 of patterns has more 1 led on @ same time (pov), asking ma rating of single led arduino, correct? is, if led rated at, say, 30 ma max , pulling in 20 - 25 it... 1 being on @ time, wouldn't matter how being switched, asking 20 - 20 ma of arduino @ given time, yes?

to me, seems logical; however, ask due multiple references i've seen led drivers, transistors, etc in other multiplexed cubes. in short, being far 'expert' in ee, rather confirm logic merely assume.

thanks in advance time on such noob question.

as not single 1 of patterns has more 1 led on @ same time (pov), asking ma rating of single led arduino, correct? ... 1 being on @ time, wouldn't matter how being switched, asking 20 - 20 ma of arduino @ given time, yes?

if one ever on then, yes, only 1 ever on.
but 1 / 4 * 4 * 4 * 3 = low duty [0.52%]
