can gpio pins drive lilypad or adafruit sequins directly? how many in line drive? have hooked them using level converter buffer gpio pins.
have not yet driven neopixels rpi have tried arduino. try putting 8mm or 5mm in ping pong balls or small plastic shot glass ( careful not hurt yourself). can put them under glass glass pieces used flowers. embedded in plastic flames or icicles.
